I wasn't worried about getting rides I know you guys well enough now that you're not going to leave us behind.
I was more or less making a joke about having to work at Greg's to earn my keep for a ride |

After coming to an event or two without my boat, one thing I can say, I was never without a ride. Look forward to it. Will have space in boats.

Glad a couple Chicago area guys are coming, but unfortunately flying, leaving, so far, no way for Quinner to get down here. Hopefully he will have several more options for catching a ride down.

Like driving 5 hours (or flying) to Mooresville then jumping in a RV to drive 14 hours to a gathering of skibuds on a small lake in Goshen? And your point is????? |

I mean I will go out of my way a reasonable amount for a Caravan - but the most direct routes for either of us wouldn't cross until a couple miles from Badin. Its a bit of a drive for sure but has been a pretty drive the past few years. |

If only they didn’t live 5+ hrs apart... don’t think their paths cross until VA. Harts are likely snowed in by Oct, not sure Canada would stamp their passports anyways. We are a definite maybe, always an awesome trip- gotta see how our fall schedule shapes up in the next month or so. |

I'm driving to Boston on 10/12, but I guess that doesnt help at all. Thought you were going to try to talk your dock tenant into joining you. (Jeff?)

Badin in Oct is awesome and the Fossetts are amazing hosts- this is one annual event not to miss but it's a serious trek from NE.
Still looking for a co-pilot for the trip. |

I suspect many northerners are still trying to make it through the summer and see what vacation days will be left in the tank. I had an overseas work trip looming that had a chance of conflicting but those dates are now set for Oct 15 so I am likely in the clear.

Glad to hear a voice from the northeast. Hopefully a good turnout from NY and New England. Now waiting to hear from the midwest/Chicagoland folks. Hoping on a good turnout. Always fun when that happens. And I have it on good authority, no hurricanes this year. Well not the windy kind, hopefully the woody kind.
Whoa! A Barracuda sighting. Brad, you coming? How about the Harts? |

I think I may leave my 79 home. It is quickly fading, floor and interior are falling apart so I think its time to park it and get ready to tear the floor out and get the interior redone so that it will be ready for next spring.

Since I'm coming from farther away this year I'm going to shoot for arriving Tuesday. That should put my actual arrival somewhere around Friday afternoon. Vandygayle is TBD, that's a super busy weekend for weddings, I'm sure Greg can agree.
