How many is "a lot" - right now there are over 26 boats and over 50 people signed up. That seems like a lot to me! I'd be hard pressed to find any sort of owners group, boat show, boat race, regatta or even any other marine event, that gets 26 boats...

I agree, but if they don't want to see pretty much every generation of Correct Crafts, take in a boat show, watch and listen to HO ski boats screaming across the lake, drinking beer at a sand bar and and seeing and talking with 25 different boat owners, then he's not going to want to come... Oh and do they still ski? or want to learn something new?..
Go to the reunion area and show him pictures of years before.. Not sure what he expects, but I'll tell ya, we sure have fun...... How about you do some extra chores and paint the house or something.. Maybe that will help haha

Speaking of kids, mine have been asking if any other kids will be there, soooo if so, speak up. My daughter (6) and son (4) will be in attendance. The 185lbs mastiff will chill at home. Looking forward to GL!

Hell Boy 2010.

Guys we've been doing this for almost 10 years, I still see most of these kids as I remember them when we first met. Heck I don't even recognize my own kids when I look back at some of the pictures from years past.

If anyone thinks these reunions are all about boats they just don't get it. The boats get you there, the friendships bring you back.

We won't be registering, but we will still make it. My uncle said even if my dad doesn't go, him, my other uncle and I will make it down for at least the day. But the, bringing their boat is questionable.

What day are you planning on visiting? Do you have "A" boat to use while there?

Not that it is a problem if you don't, there will be many "rides" available. Don't want to scare you off.

I think Pete and davidg are both still on the fence. They may just need a little more encouragement.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

In the past the boat parade heads out at 11.Am. Make sure you arrive before that. If you need a boat to ride PM me and we can exchange contact info.

There might be a boat, or 2. Depending on dad, and if my uncles finish restoring theirs.

OK, I've been crazy busy and haven't even had time to check out what dates the reunion was until now. Sorry, but been out of work until about 4 mos ago and now have been making up for it - but money and time are still tight. Can't seem to generate much interest in my wife and daughter for the event so don't know if I will register but I do plan on making it to Norwegian Bay Sat. Some of you remember Camp Grow's '75 SkiTique with the 350 Chevy that I've brought over the last 3 years. It's now mine - but haven't had time to even get it in the water yet this season. I fully intend to bring it over Sat. - it's definitely a significant step down from Tim or Joe's boats, but it's still a fun little hot rod. Last fall after a repair it was back up to about 53 mph again. My wife only let me buy it with the thought that I was going to finish cleaning it up and sell it. I'd love to keep it but... I'd also like to stay married [I think! :) ]. So if anyone makes me a reasonable offer I'd likely have to take it. Anyone that would like a ride in it just for kicks definitely come over and hit me up - I'd be glad to accomodate you. Justin, if I make it there, that would include you.

Last Day to Register !!!!!!!
The ehm, last minute types have really gotten the numbers up over the last few days.. Over 30 boats is a very nice turnout !!! We'll put the math to it, and let you know how the budget is after today...

If anyone else is still on the fence, please register !!! It takes time for Keith to approve your registration and get you set up..

Its going to be a fun year. There are a lot of new faces that we will meet and get time with and seeing their boats.. And the retun of some old favorites that we've not seen in a few years..

Since there are a few that might come out and spend the day on Sat, plan on making it to the main ramp by 11 to be apart of the "blast" out of the bay and out to the sand bar !!!

More later..
Good Job peeps !!!

After a "little" encouragement from the other Dave, I just called the Bayview and reserved a room for Friday/Saturday night. I know I missed the official sign up date of the 17th.

I hope the Bayview has Fox News. I go into withdrawls when hotels don't have it.

Anybody else staying at the Bayview?
