Reid came down Friday 8/08/08 to White Lake and met me to cruise around White Lake. We went around from boat house to boat house looking for older Correct Crafts. There's more CC's here on this lake than my SD card can hold.

Reid, getting ready to put in.

tied up to the new extended pier.

We met this guy pulling out just after we put in. He bought this '72 Skier last year. He said he had been lurking around here on CCFan.

Reid checking out his Holman and Moody.

Reid's friend Tom joined us.

Here are some of the old boats we were looking at.

and there's plenty of these and newer

What a cool day! Love the pics Tim...thanks!

Shouldn't a guy like Reid have a day job to keep himself outa trouble? Can't believe Laurie let him out without adult supervision.

Reid and Tim,

Wish I could have been there. I think Reid must have passed about an hour south of me (Reid - I am guessing you got there via Rockingham??). I was in Pinehurst area for the last two weeks. I was going to try to hook up with some of you locals but there just wasnt time to break away. Friday of your trip I was buttoning up all my projects before my Saturday departure to come back home and couldnt have made it anyway. Looks like it was a great road trip. I like the orange one and the one with the "boat doc" color scheme.

Yep Larry, straight across 74 east. One of these days when you're down we'll hook up. Just let me know. I'm looking forward in the meantime to meeting you and the rest of the gang in Lake George in just......30 more days. I'm registering today.

KennyA, I would've invited you to join, just didn't think about you being so close. We were going to meet on Thursday, but Reid switched to Friday kinda at the last minute, but it didn't matter to me since I don't work in the summer. Maybe we can do it again next year?

Tim-Next year sounds good! Maybe the inside of my Tique will look a little better next year too.

I did enjoy seeing the pics of the boats, I'll have to cruise around the lake and look a little closer at what's hiding down there. I did meet a guy the last time we were there with a SN the same year as my Tique, he walked over as we were getting ready to head out and we talked boats for a few minutes. Interesting to see a Nautique same year model as mine!

Wish I had summers off!!

Hey Tim,

Let us know also. I live in Southern Pines which is only 1 1/2 hrs from White Lake. We spent our vacations there growing up with my dad's 1970 Mustang. We have our boat at Lake Tillery. My brother and I would love to get to join you guys, and have a CC reunion at White Lake. Reid was kind enough to help us with our ski pole, which by the way Reid, has gotten a work out this summer, with all the slalom skiing we have been doing. I know Reid enjoyed looking at all those old CC's on that lake. It is a great place for family vacations. We have lots of good memories from there.
