My mom, brother and I are the proud owners of this boat. We run this boat at Lake Tillery. My dad bought this boat in 1971, and we have had it since. It has a 302 Boss Holmon Moody Engine. We have pulled as many as 7 slalom skiers at one time together. We have got great service from this incredible boat. Three generations from our family have learned to ski, wakeboard, and kneeboard behind this boat. This was my dad’s pride and joy. Unfortunately he lost his battle to melanoma in 2004, but his love of boating and skiing has continued on through his family. We are still skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing behind this boat at least every other weekend. We pulled this boat to Orlando in 2006 for the Correct Craft reunion at Sea World, and brought back 2 awards. My dad had it repainted with "MUSTANG" put on the sides in 1986. My brother and dad placed the platform the same year. The transmission was replaced shortly after, but that is basically the only thing done to the engine. We redid the carpet and upholstery in 2006. Reid Pinkham helped get us the ski pole in 2006, before we went to the reunion. Thanks again Reid for your help. As Mr Meloon told my dad when we went to the reunion in 2004, "We don’t just build boats, we build boats to last". He was exactly right. Thanks Correct Craft for a job well done.
