Hi,
I'am looking at purchasing a boat in the U.S. and i'm from Canada. How do i find out if it can be shipped to Canada. Also what kind of paperwork do you need to cross the border. Also I have a 1998 196 Nautique GT-40 EFI for Sale. Thank You |

AAron. You should be talking to a import/export broker. They will handle all the paper work as well as the import duties that may be required and even the transportation.

well i got a good price since the company that brought it here is owned by mi girlfriend father.. it was about 6500$ from port everglade miami to my frontdoor. but i think it wouldn't be that expensive if your not shipping it overseas

I've been looking into shipping from Florida to Costa Rica for a couple months now.
3 People that I know that brought boats recently (last 2 years or so, one only 2 months ago) all paid $1200-1400. I can't seem to find anything well below $2500. Doesn't make too much sense to me to spend that plus about 2K on importduties on a $6000-7000 boat (looking at 2001's). |

yes wel the 6500$ was with everything i aslo bought a 86 from florida. we said that we paid only 5500$ so we cheated a bit on the importduties.
another company qouted me about 30000 to ship my boat. man i laughed extremly hard that day iin the face of the owner charge me 30k on a boat cost 7500$ |

You can email me. Importing is a major part of my business. BTW- you have the only boat in the forsale section that lists the location as your country! |

A couple good friends from Brisbane AUS, are in the process of shipping a 99 Python SAN from Seattle to Down Under. Boat leaves on a boat Wednesday. 26 days at sea, and delivered to the port in Queensland. It is costing them somewhere in the neighborhood of $15k AUS. That includes a 10% GST on the priceincluding shipping. The exchange rate = .8 at the moment. so it is about $12k US$.

Andrew,
The boat is a 1999 Super Air Nautique. The Python is PCM motor with 430HP. Check out the Reference section for the 1999 SAN brochure. Here is one of the pictures : 1999 SAN |
