Ah you didn't mention interior, gauges and trailer.Steering is just a maintance item, mine was good when I got it,after winter storage it was toast. But 12 is the starting point, keep an eye on it. Now is not a good time to buy anyway---

I did HW, thanks. I'm keeping an eye on the listing due the drive and not an awesome price, but still in budget.
I called on that Sport back in Jan for another member. I think the seller decided he set the price too low and wouldn't let me look at it. I found an old listing for 12,5 then 7500 then up to 9500 and now 8500. Has teal carpet which I think is kinda fugly. Sorry if y'all have teal carpet. |

That sport looks like a fair price and in decent shape. Pro-tec ignition looks to have been swapped also. Teal carpet isn't so bad - just have to clean it more often b/c it shows dirt fairly easily. The rose color is kinda "90's" but again, the price seems right especially considering the amount and versatility of what you get.

I could be wrong but I think it did sell and this is the new owner listing it again. Only reason I know is after seeing someone post it on Instagram as their "new boat" but guess it didn't last long. |

That's the new marine ROPS (roll over protection system) adapted from the tractor industry. Would sell a lot faster if he took it off... |

Can't take it off, they would have nothing to pull stumps with. The shear force on those mounts has to be huge. |

He put a few bucks in the cover and the upholstery. Should at least paint the trailer to match. Wow

Yikes! The trailer not matching would be the least of my concerns.

I'd bet it's painted!! BTW, even though he did plenty of work, he should have checked his tape lines be painting. Yes it's a minor detail but check the lines port side towards the bow. |

If he chose the blue color of the trailer it would look MINT. Maybe he cracked his glasses on that sweet tower.

Not CL, but still a nice looking boat and a GREAT price. It seems a little under market to me:

Someone should snatch that '80 up asap. I cant remember seeing one with coaming pads with speaker extensions. Boat is worth way more.
