I don't think it's cheating Tim just taking advantage of the "rules", cheating would be like putting a out drive in a boat that didn't have one or rebranding another boat. Doesn't matter anyway if it does not show at an official event for independent verification.

Starting to think we will need to make a stealthy trip up to Michigan and Intercept Jeff and the Interceptor and drag them both up to Green Lake.... Whose In???

Don't forgot to take a video, preferably from the shore or somewhere outside the boat. I think I can speak for most that we want to hear this thing!

Looks great!!!
Now all it needs is a tower mostly so Pete can run one of his competition tubes behind it. He likes the rope up high for dope air.

Not really. The advantage is the angle of the prop in relationship to the hull. This is very evident with the ability of an I/O being capable of trimming the lower unit. A DD or VD inboard the prop shaft angles down so there are losses with thrust at the downward angle. The down side of an IO is all the gear losses in HP.

Jeff,
It sure is looking good! I'm anxiously awaiting the water test.

When you have gone as far as you can go mechanically, aerodynamics is your next step. My vote is in to bring it to Green Lake!

Quality of work looks very high! Can't imagine it's not going to fly... but of course a trimmable outdrive is cheating.

Oh my, it's gorgeous! I want to see a water test video. Im wondering how fast it will go as he said he thinks it will be the fastest Correct Craft so far. I don't know much about I/Os but aren't they overall way way faster than inboards?

you can get a phone to photobucket app. Then once on photobucket you can post to here. there is that way or you can transfer your photos to a computer and upload them that way, but directly from the phone, I don't think that happens, or it's too complex to figure out how to do it. I only rushed to get you this info, because I am anxious to see the pics (and the video of it going!!)

Edit: Just thought - or you can text/email me some of the good ones (all might be a bit overwhelming) and I will post them here for you. (919-six-two-seven-4585 or blhineline821 at gmail dot com)

Oh, but I will not settle for just a video. No sir, I demand to see pictures of every angle and step of the ongoing works!

I hear ya Kristoff! I can't wait to see video of this thing hauling a$$, really interested to see if this thing will run with the Donzi's and some of the other quick I/O's that are that size. I am sure there will be a lot of work on it over this weekend. Maybe it will get wet too!!!

Jeff, with all of the stuff you've done yourself on your boat, it's awful hard to imagine anything you wouldn't be able to do.
