Who's going to be the lucky owner of the 1987 Ski Nautique for sale with 186 original hours for $7,000? I'm having a tough time keeping my wallet in my pocket for this beauty. That's a great price!!!! I won't last long, who's going to be the lucky owner?

Great Deal

I almost choked when I saw that this morning. Somebody is getting hooked up provided the boat checks out mechanically.

Boat looks great. How in the world does someone only put 186 hours on an '86 Nautique? Have you noticed how one of the control cable is coiled up on top of the intake manifold...can't be good.

My guess is the hours aren't original or there was a recent rebuild. Either way still looks like a pretty good deal.

I would say the hours are right and that it has just sat in the garage and only gets used once or twice a year for vacation time, interesting on the cable though.

It specifically states low boat and engine hours. Unless the hour meter was replaced during a rebuild, then 186 is original. Original owner too, which helps with the history. Somebody needs to get a look at it!

It would be a 1,400 mile drive for me or 22 hours one way. As much as I'd love to see it, I'm out.

Is it still for sale? Did anyone hear from the owner or inspect it? I emailed him Sunday. Still no response.

If it's as good as it looks with no mechanical issues, it's a crime that it's still for sale. So we're working on contacting the owner? 1987 Nautique, deluxe seats, 186 hours, looks nice from the pics......$7,000?!?! Jack pot.

I know this probably sounds bad but this type of post used to drive me nuts when I was searching for boats. When I found what I thought would be a great boat or great deal, someone with no intention of buying feels the need to tell the world about the boat AND that the seller has too low of a price. For the people who search the ads every day to find a deal like this, the last thing they want is it being blatently brought up online. Just my 2 cents.

I think we've all pointed out the obvious, good or bad at some point. We love to discuss the unknowns and get answers. If somebody wants a boat bad enough, they'll pursue. In this case, I think a lot of us are pursing without any luck. I've already Map quested from Boston to KS trying to justify making the drive to buy. Hopefully, somebody will get a good look at this boat and give feedback. For all we know, the engine or transmission could be junk. $7,000 might be a fair price, who knows the boats history or condition, top to bottom!
