I remember those boats from when I was a kid.
I think they rode rough.

If memory serves me correctly I think the early ones were 2 cycle engines hooked to the outdrive unit. Early OMC I/O units had a separate motor and gear system that raised the outdrive unit that was mounted outside of the boat. Then the trim system was inside and actually raised and lowered the entire engine. It had a big rubber boot that allowed the whole works to pivot thru the transom. Not a good scenario when you left the boat in the water in a muskrat infested lake. They tend to like the taste of rubber.

"This Boat nor the trailer have ever touched water and are maintained in excellent condition, it is stored in a room-temperature Storage."

Did he mean to say salt water?

I remember them from when I was a kid too, not sure I ever found them particularly cool. I do remember they had a kind of a high pitched whining sound instead of a normal engine sound.

Boat is very similar to the one that my parents owned ( and I learned how to slalom) while growing up . Brings back memories for sure !!
