I bought this 1969 Wildcat in Sept 2014 from a guy who lived in central Georgia who lost interest in it.

Boat history: Born on Nov 28, 1968 in Orlando, FL. Meridian blue with taffy ivory topsides. Chrysler 318 engine. Delivered to Osage Beach Marina in Missouri.

I believe the boat eventually wound up in Oklahoma then to Georgia over the decades.

Along the way, motor was replaced with a 1958(?) Gray Marine 327. Interior replaced somewhere, sometime also.

I've repowered it with a Chevy Mercruiser 454 this year. Replaced all stringers and floor. New propeller. New fuel tank. New complete convertible canvas.

Used the boat for a month this summer. It's been a long road but roaring down the lake at sun makes it totally worth it! Pulling my nephew around on slalom makes it totally worth it! Love the conv canvas on those hot sunny days. The boat features skiff-style front windows that open up in 3 different positions which make those 6mph channels nice and breezy. Love this boat and just couldn't stop looking at it when it was tied up at the dock or on its mooring. It has a nice big fat wake and mammoth waves and looks great out on the water at any speed.
