I just removed the entire pro tec system from my boat worked good but needed to change the system due to a high overlap cam and high compression setting off the knock sensor

These things are a ticking time bomb... Not necessarily worth replacing until they start causing problems, but it seems it's only a matter of time. With the reasonable cost of upgrading to a conventional distributor, I'm not surprised you're having a hard time selling. We've seen many protec systems given away for free.

I picked 2 up..... one was free and the other as $20 with cam.... both had cracked housings and only one worked..... they are ticking time bombs on the parts shelf too..... You don't say if it's for a 351 or 454. I might take another chance on a 454 pro-tec....
