Once I get the all clear from the doc to actually do anything again, I'm going to tackle the hull which has faded over the years.
My plan is to wet sand using 1000 grade, then apply cutting polish with a rotary mop and finally polish with a random orbit.

Quick question, for the application of the cutting compound should I use a lambswool or sponge bonnet on the rotary mop?

Al; Hope you are recovering quick.

Do a "search" on the site. Numerous threads about sanding and polishing. Lots of different ideas...enough to confuse I'm sure.

9" double sided lambs wool so you can flip it over when it gets too dirty. Fill a 5 gal pail 1/2 way with water and a little bleach to soak it in overnite, comes out nice and clean and ready to go.
