I recently bought a 63 Atom Skier Deluxe does anyone know if Correct Craft ever made a combination Wood top with fiberglass bottom. The sides and bottom have glass over wood but the top is finished in wood only. Painted bottom and sides from molding down. Thanks

63, CC never fiberglassed over the wood. You may have bought yourself a very big problem. Fiberglassing a wood boat is temporarily covering up a bad leaky possibly rotted hull. It will now speed up the rot as the glass will trap water moisture in the wood. If he used polyester resin, it will also not stick to the wood. I have seen a fiberglass skin come off a wood boat in one very large piece and then the boat proceded to sink. Can you get your money back??
