Heather,
For posting pictures on CCfan, use the "post reply" and not the "quick" at the bottom of each thread. When the Post reply opens, you will find an icon of a tree with an up arrow. Clicking on it will bring up a browse box allowing you to upload anything off your computer. If you are trying to use a phone, it doesn't work.

I find it easier to have the pictures uploaded elsewhere and then link them here.

I'd love to see pics, but I'm not on Facebook. Glad you had such a good turnout!

Good Friday morning guys!!! Wanted to remind those that are gonna be able to make it out to MINI tomorrow. We will meet at Oak Hollow Marina at 10am. I'll post the address at the end of this message. We can do a little meet and greet and then around lunch we can launch the boats and ski away!! Tomorrow night about 7pm we will meet back at my house for hamburgers and/or hot dogs. And a 35th birthday celebration for yours truly. Lol!! For those that couldn't make it out this time I will plan on making the next MINI a bit later in the month so we can be clear from graduations and stuff. Can't wait to see you guys!

Heather, The scheduling Gods have filled up that weekend for me with a nephew's baby shower, and a daughter's bridal shower. I was so looking forward, but will have to pass until the next. Planning on attending Badin Lakw in October. Todd

Good morning guys!! So I have great news....I have scheduled our time at Oak Hollow Lake for our mini!!! It is scheduled for 6/11/16 from 10am to 2pm. I have a shelter set up for this time. I figured we could set up and converse then maybe around 12 or so the ones that want to launch their boats can do that. Then we will have the shelter for a couple more hours for those that want to hang out or do whatever. That night if everyone wants we can grill out hamburgers and/or hot dogs at my house. We can get together a list of items that some can bring. Anyone coming from out of town if you need a place to stay Oak Hollow has a camp ground and also I have some room at my home that you are more than welcome to stay at. Getting together the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for those that had some and those that would like to try it. I have also set up a Facebook page for this event. Correct Craft Fan Oak Hollow Marina Mini 2016. Please go there and share this event. I have 4 people that have already stated they are coming. Can't wait to see you guys. Will post more details as they become available.

I can't attend, but I gotta say Wow !     I looked at 3 Oak Hollow vids today and I was shocked and amazed at the lack of boat traffic.   One vid was LaborDay weekend with Marty and Keegan, I think I counted 4 or 5 boats !
On my lake it would be 4 or 5 thousand,

Looks like great place for a CC event.

$40 sounds more than reasonable when we all pitch in. That would give us a good place to do lunch and have plenty of time before and/or after on the water.

I'm excited about planning this. Love having parties!! Most definitely we will have to get enough of the stuff to make the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I even found a couple more recipes for other things to try as well!!

$40 for 4 hours or $80 for the whole day. The times were 10-2 or 3-7. I am offering my home to anyone that needs to crash and we could even go back to my house that night and cook out if some would like to do that as well.   :)

June 11th works so count me in. I like the idea of a shelter, maybe 1/2 day so we can get a good look at all the boats and then hit the water. What's the cost of the shelter?

Hey guys!! I hope your week has gone well so far. So....talked with Oak Hollow Marina and I have a few dates that some shelters are available. Since this is my first time planning something like this I'm gonna throw some ideas out and y'all let me know what you think. I know that we have a few local people that are willing to come so even if it's just a couple handful of boats out there then we will still have a blast! With that being said this is some things that I have a question about.
1-Do you want to just launch the boats and get up with everyone in the water or would you like to have shelter for everyone to meet up and look at boats and then launch around lunch??
2-If we get a shelter I can do all day rental or a 4 hour time slot. 10-2 or 3-7. What's the thoughts on that??
3-Keeping the shelter thing in mind I could also see about running an ad in the paper just to let the public know there will be some great boats out if they want to come by to look at them.
4-If we do a shelter these are the dates that are available
June 11, June 25 and then all of the Saturday's in August are available

So I'm asking for your input. If we do Saturday June 11th I need to go ahead and reserve the shelter. Please let me know ASAP!! Feel free to send me an email if you'd like hyates6981@gmail.com.   Can't wait to see you guys!!

Heather,

I would be in for this. I remember we had a birthday party for a Made family member a few summers ago on the lake . We had about five CC boats with us. It was a nice time. I am only about 90 minutes away.

Even if there are not many from out of town there are enough folks around the triad area to make a great event. I'm looking forward to meeting some more owners in the area for sure.

Welcome to the site Heather and glad you decided to join us here. Not to be a Danny Downer but keep in mind that the Green Lake Mini is in July and either a Badin Mini or Norman Mini should be in the works for this fall. Don't know if you'll get too many distant CCFans to travel to High Point with those already in the works.

Welcome to CCFan CCGirl!

I'm usually in Danville a few times each summer, looking for lake action to get into. This year it's going to be Smith Mountain Lake and Lake Fontana, so I'm out.
