The same with the distributor as you mentioned since they are both driven off the same gear. |

Your good to go,they all run the same direction no matter what rotation of the engine

I'm rebuilding my engine and as I bolted up the oil pump, it made me wonder about rotation. I have a reverse rotation engine and bought a standard oil pump. I seem to remember distributors spinning the same direction regardless making all oil pumps spin the same.
However, I don't want to be wrong. |
