This dizzy is for a 351 C/M 400. The part # does not match current MSD site info. I looked at Summit Racing for similar part 83506 & the engines application pages all say 'Ford Modified' or 'Cleveland'.
Would it work on a 351W PCM? If not what would be the difference? MSD Dist for SBF |

Sounds like it would just take a gear swap to make the BBF dizzy work on a 351w.

Thanks. I missed the auction end but this is good to know if I run across another.
Thanks for the info, should have searched for it myself! |

You are right, you will have to change the gear. I picked up a Prestolite breakerless marine distributor on Ebay for a "429" brand new for $50 delivered. I swapped the gear and dropped it in. One thing though, you will probably need a press to remove/install the gear. I just took mine to work and did it there. The gear fit is much tighter than a SBC. |
