Morse control is quite likely original as they were common on the early -mid sixties big boats. That boat is certainly bad arse, it would need to be a real original 400 hp 427 for them to be close to the right range of price.. but even with a 300 hp 427 that is a pretty rare boat and in great shape. Who has deep pockets and wants to give me a ride?

If it is an original 427, that's the 1st one I've seen. Cool boat, especially with that sweet top.

My Debonnaire has the split Morse control from the factory as well. Is the collegian an upgraded Wildcat? The hull and dash look to be very similar. With that engine it would be a lot of boat to handle!

It seems like it would be very hard to do fine throttle control at 40 plus mph with that little throttle stick!

Found this 1980 Ski Tique for sale. Near Lake Lanier.
Pretty rough boat for $8500. Sticker says new stringers.....I doubt it!

You need to get out more David. Here is the best picture I have of the old control off my Dads boat. As you can see in this picture the levers are longer than they seem on the ebay boat.
