Hi, how do I get rid of spider cracks? Is it a huge project that requires a professional or something that I can do myself over the winter? Thanks, Lisa

Lisa,
Where have you been???

Where are the spider cracks? If they are in the hull sides then it's typically caused by stringer problems. You never did tell us what happened with the two stringer jobs that were done (goofed up) on your boat!!

Spider cracks are routed out with a small burr and a die grinder (Dremel tool). They are then filled sanded smooth and then the hull is re gel coated (preferred) or painted. If there are only a couple, then you can fill them with gel coat but a color match is very difficult.
