1979 Ski Nautique.
Good Condition. It is however a 35 year old boat and not perfect, it has its share of scratches from years of fun.
It has a 351 Windsor engine that has been rebuilt with about 12 hours on it. The engine was bored out .030 a mild cam was added for more torque (as if it needed more, but hey it was torn apart). The exhaust and intake were port matched and the crank assembly was balanced.
A couple years ago I found the stringers were rotten, so the stringers front to back were replaced and re-glassed in. The boat is ready for summer fun!
It is a direct drive, with a Borg Warner Velvet drive transmission. With the direct drive and center mount engine it turns on a dime and has enough power to pull stumps out of the beach. I have pulled up 7 slalom skiers simultaneously with this boat.
It has a great hull profile, at lower speeds it throws a nice sharp wake that is unbelievable for wakeboarding. At ski speed the wake all but disappears.
I hate to get rid of it but funds are tight, and while not too old to ski, I'm getting there. LOL.
