I grew up getting pulled by my Step-dad's 1976 Ski Tique. To me it was the greatest boat ever made. Until the 1990 brochure came out. We fell in love with the yellow model featured in the brochure, and still have that picture framed and hanging on the wall at our cabin. Fast forward to 2008, I happened to be in the position to buy one of those 1990 hello Ski Nautique, and spent significant time updating, restoring, and caring for that boat. I surprised him with my new toy, and he was a bit jealous to say the least. Unfortunately, the fun only lasted two seasons due to a natural disaster wiping out our lake.
After an 8 year hiatus, our new and improved lake is back, as well as a new and improved HawkTique model. Lake Delhi underwent severe flooding back in 2010, and subsequently, a levy failed and was reverted back to a stream as it was in the early 1900's. I made the painful decision to sell my beloved "HawkTique" and move on to a life without the lake. With the lake finally rebuilt, my Step-dad asked me to find him one just like I had. I happened to come across this 2001 SAN, and it was just right, but a bit more than he wanted to spend. That was the beginning of a joint venture, which now landed us our dream boat.
