I bought my 73 off of a craigslist post, need a ton of TLC. I couldn't believe it could run in the condition that I found. This wasn't my first experience with a Correct Craft, my knee-boarding buddy bought a 1965 Mustang in worse shape. I helped him rebuild it (back in 1992), only to have it fall in dis-repair, and he gifted it to me.

Now I have been using donor parts from the 65 to get my 73 in to tip top shape. There is nothing like the throaty sound of the dual exhaust 351w echoing up from below the swim deck. Makes me smile every time I hear it, I also love firing it up to rev the water out of the exhaust on the launch ramp. People always turn their heads, and give that look... what the hell is in that small old boat.

The guy before me painted it to match is 90's GM pickup with the Green to Black fade. Either I will keep it the same, or one day strip it and go back to the original lime green baby!

I love all the sounds, smells, and cussing that an older Correct Craft causes on the water. Wouldn't have it any other way.
