-------------------------
Only 82 of the 25th Anniversary Silver Nautiques where made and this one is #50 (denoted by the XXV050 marking in the stern, opposite the hull number).
Over all this boat is fantastic, especially for it’s age, and runs like a top. It’s rarity makes it more valuable then a standard ’86 Ski Nautique 2001. What makes it a Silver Nautique is the metal flake gel coat (the only Ski Nautique with bass boat type gel coat) along with the ’Silver Nautique’ and ’25’ graphics.
Extras include a PSS dripless Shaft Seal, in-dash Humminbird Depth Sounder, ACME 542 prop, AM/FM Marine radio with CD, black bimini, and custom cover suitable for travel.
The trailer is an original Correct Craft ’low-boy’. It has new tires, bearings, bunks, fenders and was just repainted.
The previous owner had the engine professionally rebuilt in 2001 and has only 131 hours on it. Beyond new heads, gaskets, etc., it also has all new exhaust manifolds, water pump, electric ignition, all PCM hoses, and belts. The original hour meter was broken prior to my ownership but has been replace with an original VDO (thanks Woody) and has been set to the hours since engine rebuild.
In addition, it has a new alternator, raw water filter, speedo pickups, speedo hose, driver seat base, observer’s bench base (repaired/rebuilt), ski pylon, ignition (key), circuit breakers, engine warning system, horn, and more.
The interior and carpet were replace to original design about seven years ago.
