I bought this boat off of Ebay about 8 years ago. I wasn’t looking for a boat but somehow when I was searching for something else I stumbled on her. I showed my wife the boat and surprisingly she said I should buy it if it was something I really wanted. It was and I did. I drove from Northern CA, to Southern CA, with a borrowed truck full of kids to pick her up. The boat has been awesome. I bought it on the 3rd of July and there were fireworks visible from highway 5 on my way to pick it up. On the 5th of July I got pulled over on Medicine Lake by a Siskiyou County Deputy. He told me the hull numbers were too high on the hull. The previous owner was the second owner and he hadn’t modified the boat. The Deputy didn’t cite me and I have never changed the numbers. This is one of the coolest sounding machines, land or sea, that I have ever owned. The first time I heard it from our cabin while my brother had it on the lake was magic. I wasn’t sure whether I should apologize or brag. We use the skylon, installed by the second owner as a flagpole.
