I found this Ski Tique on craigslist in June 2010. I am the third owner of this boat. The previous owner had it since 1980. He was a pilot in Camarillo CA and stored it in his aircraft hangar. When I purchased this boat it had been sitting for several years. The engine needed some work, the Tique was a bit rough and it needed some restoration. I love the original look of these classic ski boats and really enjoyed bring this Ski Tique back to life.
As a member of ACBS I proudly display this classic ski boat among the Chris Crafts and other classic boats at my local boat shows and is very well received. Lots of memories have been made cruising and skiing behind this classic.
BOAT:
-Powder Coated Aluminum speedo mounting bracket
-Freshly Chromed Steering wheel assembly, bow cleats, lift rings, and engine cover brackets.
-Professionally polished all seat brackets, ski pylon, and rear rope guard.
-Added storage pockets behind front seats.
-Removable SS ring and finger in the pylon (using -screws)
-Bimini top
-New reproduction teak swim step
-New Chrome Hadley Air Horn, with tank and compressor hidden under the bow.
-New Carpet
-New Battery hatch
-New Correct Craft side decals
-Wet-sanded the whole top deck
-Replaced all hardware with stainless steel
-All Gauges and Accessories are fully functional, bilge pump, blower, horn, and navigation lights.
