I got the Correct Craft bug back in 1975 when my Dad bought a 1975 Southwind 18 with a Chevy 350. I enjoyed years of skiing out at the lake and sometimes dropping it in the Kennebec River in Augusta Maine and navigating down to Boothbay Harbor and back on day trips with good friends. Now 35 years later I have triplet boys of my own and want to share similar experiences with them here in Georgia. I found this pristine, all orginal 1978 Southwind in Central NY. It has spent all its life on a lift and under cover when not in use during the summer and in dry storage every winter. No rot, original interior, a glossy finish with no spider cracks. The motor has an upgraded Eddlebrock Performer intake and a 4 barrel carb - the heads appear to have been reworked but not sure yet.

I plan on keeping it completely original - although I may upgrade the GM 305 to a stronger 350 and find away to put a bimini top on it by attaching it to the windshield frame!
