1969 Barracuda with a 300hp Chrysler 318 that is 90% restored.

I bought this boat last April (2007). I spent all winter on-line looking for a 1969 CC for my wife’s birthday (she was born in 69’). She was convinced I was having an on-line affair all winter...

I wanted this boat because my wife used to be way into skiing and footing before we met. She used to ski at Cypress Gardens years ago, but I had never seen her ski. We live on a small lake in NH, so I just figured we should have a boat... that is how this hole ski boat thing got started.

When I told my wife I would be gone for a few days last April, she joking said "Oh you are going to see you internet girlfriend"... She new I was going to get her birthday gift, she just did not know what is was.

I drove to Lake Norman, NC to buy this 69’ Barracuda, and it turned out to be the best thing I could have done...
The boat is perfect. But this spring I convinced my wife we should get a slightly newer ski boat and keep the Barracuda nice and prestine. So we did, a 1977 SN...

Nothing will take the place of this 1969 Barracuda, but the 77 SN is pretty nice.
