As the sales manager for Adirondack Marine in Lake George NY, I have been keeping my eyes open for the perfect ONE. After 3 years of patiently snooping around and picking through the trade-ins and used boats, this ’82 really caught my eye. She came from an abused relationship with a "know it all Ford auto mechanic" who pulled the engine to find out he didn’t know what was going on. So the engine was left in boxes outside his shop for the winter. When the former owners picked her up from the "talented Ford guru" they gathered her parts and shamefully rolled in the ADK lot to see what could be done. Jeff Roach, ADK Marine Service Manager steered them to trading in and forgetting the past. As a full family they were eager to see something a bit bigger.
The ADK boys ended up installing a refurbished ’96 PCM 351 in her. All in all the stringers, hull and accessories are in great shape.
All she needs is a bit of cosmetic loving and someone to ski her like she was born to do. Home Sweet Home!!
So far all we have had to add is a custom canvas cover, depth finder and some old school charm to her rear gas tank panel, which will include a Ralph Sr. signature after the ’09 LG Reunion. She runs great and we couldn’t be more excited.
