This is the first boat my wife and I have owned. My Dad always had boats when I was growing up and those memories on the lake skiing and camping are some of the best memories I have. Early in the spring of this year we bought a camper to start spending more quality time with our girls ages 3 and 14. Due to fuel prices we started camping at the lake close to home. One day some of my wife’s family was at the lake with their boat and we went out for a ride with them. After the ride my wife told me she may have boat fever. I knew then we were getting a boat because I have had boat fever all of my life. We found and purchased this boat two weeks later. My wife and I both agree it has been one of the best investments for the family we have ever made.
About the boat; I found it on Craig’s List. As you can see from the pics it was very well maintained and all original. The owner had picked it up himself from the factory and was extremely meticulous. The kind of person everyone wants to buy a used boat from. He claims it has never spent the night in the water or out from under cover. It had 750 hours on it when we bought it.
I have always wanted an inboard type ski boat but always felt they would be out of our price range. This one was a little more than we had budgeted for but well worth the extra. It’s a Correct Craft, it is worth it. My daughters absolutely love being on it and the 14 year old is learning to ski, kneeboard and wakeboard. My three year old will be four in March and I can’t wait to get her started. I hope that we are building memories for them like I have myself.
