I grew up in the Pacific Northwest skiing and playing behind Nautiques and always wanted my own boat. The time finally came in 1998. I bought my ’79 from White Lake Marina in North Carolina (I was based there with the Marines). A guy had the boat on consignment with White Lake and had to sell her due to some personal problems. The boat had about 300 hours on it and had been hanging in a boat house for years. The boat is stock except for the swim step which I think I bought form Mid-West Correct Craft back in ’98. It’s been a while. I’m not sure about the history of the blue hull. Not to many of these running around. This year (’07) I need to pull the motor and tranny to do a little work (gaskets, seals, hoses) before we put the boat in the water. Someday I want to do a total overhaul; stringers, floor, motor, gel coat, etc. The only problem is finding the time. This Nautique is a daily driver.

I love these boats.
