Here is my 1983 SN 2001 that my buddy picked up in the fall of ’05 and I bought from him during the summer of ’06. After some TLC to the cosmetics over that first winter, she looked good for the spring, but had some mechanical issues. After quite a bit of help from these forums the problems were solved and we had her on the water by that May. I bought the boat with 670 hours on it, and currently, as of July 31st, the hour meter is showing 954 hours. The past 284 hours have been quite a bit of fun, however late this summer, most likely the end of August, I will be looking to sell. I need to get my shoulder fixed, ect, ect. I am hoping to possibly snag SS or SAN down the road once I have made a sure recovery.

The boat has been well maintained mechanically, oil every 50 hours plus spring and fall. I spoke earlier of some mechanical issues when my friend had purchased the boat. The problems it turns out were caused by a bent distributer shaft. However, in the trouble shooting process, a new coil was purchased, new starter, new distributer, new alternator, and several more bits and pieces. The teak platform has been refinished and I installed removable brackets. The interior is in "good" shape and the trailer is "fair" condition. New tires were purchased last year. The boat has (4) 6.5" Sony explode speakers, a self amplified sub, and a Sony CD deck with AUX input located in a waterproof casing located on the dash. The boat would come with a flyhigh pylon and racks as well. The boat has always sat under a canopy during the summer, and closed storage for the winter. She runs like a champ and hopefully I can get her to a new and excited owner.

If anyone has any questions or interest please shoot me an email.

Cheers,

Steven D
