Steve,
I guess I'll need to look for a lesbian Subaru mechanic.

BTW, my lesbianmobile had the head gaskets changed when I purchased it. My straight mechanic say's he could tell by looking at the gasket edge they used the good multilayer gaskets.

Wow! That lesbian can sure drive that Subaru!

Were it my old Subaru, every twist, turn and drift would be marked by a nice line of oil from a leaking head gasket or a scored tarmac from the rod thrown through the bottom of the engine. I think the Subaru engineers spent MUCH more time on that car than mine!

Living in the Adirondacks and rust belt in general I would only get a Subaru new. No matter the generation or model of Subaru they rot from the inside out. For instance if you had one with a steel gas tank and the tank started to leak from rust you just junk the car. I've never seen one survive having the subframe removed that helps hold up the gas tank. But if youre not in a salt state, their a great car in winter

Jeff,
Considering how republican dominated Lafayette is, Subaru must recruit all the liberals out of Purdue! It will be interesting to see how Bernie does in Indiana.    BTW, before I grew up, I had a pony tail down to my waist!

When my friend was 20 or so his whole family was gathered for his ultra-conservative father's birthday, opening presents. When it was Steve's turn, he pulled out some scissors, cut off his long ponytail and handed it to his father, who then nearly cried. Now Steve is a staunch Republican, worked on the Dole campaign and every one since.

To reduce the toxins and greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere when the glue back is peeled off in a self-applied open air scenario, 2016 Subarus now come factory equipped with a Bernie Sanders sticker, installed in a hermetically sealed chamber by ponytailed technicians wearing OSHA-approved hard-toe Birkenstock sandals.

By what I'm hearing, it sounds like the genus makeup in the northeast and east are tree hugging gay's, lesbians, liberal democrats, and socialists. It also sounds like they all drive Subaru's. and since there are so many of them, they must like them. That's a pleasure to hear since I'm sure enjoying mine.
Due to the house build come spring, I have to move my instant vinyl shelter where the Atom is stored. I got the Atom out and took it for a ride down the highway with the Forester. I'm impressed and convinced I made a sound choice of vehicle.
BTW, I'm voting for Trump.

Now your talking wheelbase my friend haha.

Most of the subarus I see in New england usually have VT plates and you gte points if you find one that does NOT have an audubon society sticker on it and Theres always a Tibeten flag displayed somewhere in or on the car for whatever reason.

Yeah I think it would make a great DD and with how low to the ground it is, wheelbase, weight ect would also make a great tow vehicle.

My cousin used to tow a 19ft sea ray from long island to the adks with a 06 Malibu, and it towed fine but he started to notice it was starting to permanently squat. I was impressed by it and I think people greatly underestimate cars, probably because everybody and their mother drives a crew cab shortbed nowadays.

Peter, I am finding late model Suburu drivers are the most aggressive drivers on the road, especially if they have NH plates. Maybe they just like being aggressive around earth hogging pick ups or Suburbans? Gore/Kerry and Obama stickers for sure. Visualize World Peace.

It's all fine until something happens and stuff happens. We had a Cuda jump off the hitch a couple years ago at 65 mph in the dark. Fortunately, no injuries or damage. Not sure how it would have gone if we didn't have a decent tow vehicle. That 3000 lb Cuda might have out powered one of those lesbianmobiles or at least parted ways with some of its rear end.

hussler I think the point i was trying to make but didn't exactly come out as direct as it should was, To go purchase something like a E320 with the idea that you may want to tow something and know you can isn't quite the same as buying a E320 for the purpose of towing. sounds like you are looking for a tow vehicle and asked opinion on the e350.

as far as legality i don't know from state to state but DOT can and will stop a non commercial vehicle if they think it is overweight. ask me how i know. They will also check your trailer brakes lights and they love pulling out the scales if there is any question.
Have you actually physically looked at a door sticker for this info? It will tell you your GVWR right there. If your boats 5000lb and the proper 500lb tounge wieght is on there, add you, fuel, gear and 4 friends you may very well be over that by a bit.

It is my rather unprofessional opinion that if your insurance coverage is commensurate with your assets liability should not be an issue.
