Imported 2 SN2001’s from US to Australia. The reason for 2 was so I could reduce the cost of freight by spreading it across both boats. I plan to keep the 89 SN2001 and sell the 87 SN2001 I imported.
Update: Sold the 87. Finished the 89 for now. Will do a few more things after season ends.
Project so far -
Rebuilt trailer totally only minimal parts used from imported trailer.
Wet sanded and buffed hull. Added new decals & pin striping.
Installed marine stereo in dash with 4 speakers, sub + 2 amps.
Fabricate new dash switch panel. Solder new connectors on all dash wiring. Run +ve & -ve bus style wiring in dash. Provide extra earth from dash wiring.
Add Hummingbird depth gauge
Re-carpet floor
Add new bimini & high pole
