Could be pretty bad - cracked block from freeze damage. I would pop the transmission off and have a look. If there is no water in the oil and the engine is otherwise good then perhaps drain the engine and apply some job weld.

Large round part = bellhousing

Personally I would not use the boat till you find where the water is coming from. (saw the vid)

If you starve the exhaust hose from water you will then burn a hole, then sink to the bottom.

Not boating is never fun, but it's a whole lot better than sinking.

That's a pretty decent leak. I agree that you need to find out what's causing it before using the boat. Here's a direct link.

your engine is a 351W, right?

If so, there are no water freeze plugs in the back of the engine

If its a chevy, there are two.

Are you sure? There are freeze plugs back there on a 302.

I just went out and looked at the 351W I have on the engine stand and it's the same as the first pic.

My '79 Tique was leaking from the bellhousing. The 302 block was cracked on both sides, the left being worse, one poke with a screwdriver and the piece fell right out. I hope it turns out better then mine.
