I have a 2001 proair. I am trying to figure out what the orange and green wire on the touch keypad ignition are for.
just guessing that out of the four wires:

red == power into the switch
black == ground
orange == I think would be power returning to starter in order to activate (need to confirm)
Green == ground returning to complete loop.

I have wiring diagrams but they don't actually explain.
please help.

Gary,
You know they are coming/going at the keypad but check what's at the other end.
