OK guys, You ever have one of those "every man for himself" at supper?

I need to get some new quick / easy sandwich ideas. My favs are Peanut butter and bacon, Grilled cheese and jalapenos, and of coarse the good ol fried egg and cheese.

What trips your trigger for easy sandwiches?

Slice of bread, slice of spam, slice of American cheese, and a slice of tomato. Then put it under the broiler. Topped with a broiled slice of bread. Bowl of tomato soup optional. My iPhone auto corrected the word spam. Scary:)

White bread not toasted, ketchup, fried egg, dill pickle slices. Sounds horrible but tastes delicious.

Grilled cheese with fried onions and sour cream.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Ever have a wish sandwich? A wish sandwich is the kind of sandwich where you have two slices of bread and you wish you had some meat...

The other day I had a cool-water sandwich and a Sunday-go-to-meetin' bun.
Bow, bow, bow......

(Please note: I will lose all faith in humanity if I have to explain this reference, particularly to one of you Chicagolanders)

Steve just plain old Aussie Vegemite for the quickest sandwich.

Another quick favourite of mine which may appeal to the US palate more is a corned beef (silverside) with mustard pickles.
If you're going through hell, keep going

on the above mentioned fluffer snotter. we invented it as kids, when my brother was a cook on a coast guard cutter in the boat people days off haiti he made one for himself some of the guys laughed at it , when he made a few to try it turned into a 60 or so sandwich a week project , try one you just might make me famous
