Im looking for a couple of the equalizer tubes that pressure up the speedos. They are near the gas tank. The pickups on the rear feed into them and then goes to the speedo. Thanks for the replys.

NG,
Are your's missing or just split due to the pitot system being plugged filled with water and then frozen? They can be repaired by sweat soldering on a patch. If gone, new ones can be made with common copper sweat solder water tubing and fittings.

Pete, thanks for the info. My speedos were clogged when I bought boat. I cleaned pickups and they still don't work. I've been told the next probable step would be the tubes ( because of ice ). I'll have to pull tank to be 100% sure. I just wanted to have parts to replace before I pulled tank. I didn't know they were repairable. If I have to make new ones, theirs nothing special inside them? Just the tubes with fittings for the lines? Tim

Tim,
They are just hollow tubes. Keep us posted as to what you find.

Have you tested the speedo's? You can use regulated air directly hooked up to the speedo. This will tell you more on where the problem is. You can also hook up the air at the aft and listen for leaks in the pitot system. I'd go this route before pulling the tank. 0 (start at 0) to 30 PSI will do it.

Thanks Pete. When I get a chance I'll pull it out of storage and see what I can find out.
