"Bottom of boat has major damage" Ahhh Ya THINK!!! Maybe from driving on and off that trailer???? Check out the prop and tracking fin, oh and the strut has a nice little bend in it too.

Tim posted something about CC's use of "skags" a few time but that hull had the goofy strut shown there. Seen it on other Wildcats and Tournament Skiers. I don't think it does anything for tracking, probably more so prop and rudder protection.

I don't have a lot of exposure to how far back the fins go, but I know for sure I've been in a model as late as a 72 that didn't have any, so 67 tracked in my mind

I have never seen that either, but CC had tracking fins as early as 63. There is one on my Dad's Ski Nautique.

I really like that boat! Agree, that would be a fun one for someone, and starting price isn't crazy either.

Air

These Sport or Air's in the '98-2000 range are getting very close to $10,000, it's a lot of boat for the money.

I'd like to see a picture that shows the back of the boat/trailer, for some reason the trailer looks small to me and I'd want to see where the prop guard ends up to be sure it loads correctly.

Sorry, my terminology might not be correct. Covered dock with boat lift? Maybe that is what you call it. The boat looked great in there up on the lift. And there are no lakes downtown with covered boat lifts? Are you kidding me? LOL Get out your map!

Even more interesting when there are no lakes in "downtown orlando" with a boat house.

And yes, I got the 7K. No negotiating. Nice couple with a house on a lake in Downtown Orlando with a boathouse and lift in the backyard. Was perfect.

The boat was priced high at $9,400 intentionally because I was looking for a trade partner, swapping the boat for an extra car to beat on. Decided against it so prices it at 7K for a true sale, and it sold in 4 days. Already delivered, cash in hand. Guess I was closer to reality than you thought. LOL Happy Boating!

I've been watching that boat for 6 months now. Ski Tique's are my #1 priority on my CC to do list. He's slowly backed down from 10k. Looks really clean. When it gets to the 6k range it'll be worth looking at in person.

Lol. Only took a couple of weeks. You'd think with his generous income he'd let it go for what it's worth and take the hit on his investment. Still priced too high though.

He's getting close to reality.
