did I just see a for sale sign on your BFN?    a "little" interior cleanup and a motor and that does look like a good deal!

HAHA, no. No more impulse purchases from this guy. Not that the last 2 didn't work out in my favor, but with only 1 income now it's a little more risky playing the roulette wheel these days.

No trailer, no motor, so figure $3,000 for a trailer (guessing) and not sure on the motor, depends on what you plan to put in. I can't imagine there are many Excalibur's just sitting around waiting to be dropped in for short money, so what would you have to spend on a motor, maybe $6,000? Or am I way off?

Still a good deal, a 6 year old 206 for under $20,000, assuming the rest of the boat isn't abused, but it looks like it is.

Wonder if there is a ruined engine in place... but with all the accessories there, or if it's just a big empty space under the doghouse.

I bet $6k cash would take that boat all day long. My question is - Does he have the title...?

Where do you live 67? I'm 45 minutes from Lake George and my trailer is boatless for a few more weeks.

Has a title just missed this boat two weeks ago in the keys for $2500. Talked to Fl. inboards about a motor but I was alittle to slow. It also needs a trans.

If it was $2,500 a few weeks ago, and listed for 3 times that now, seems a bit fishy. Why would someone sell it for $2,500 unless they came across it "free"?

If you're still interested why not offer to come over with 4 grand in cash, seems like he'd take the quick profit.

Forget it,if it looks like that you know how it was cared for and then add saltwater to the mix? You can bet that motor didn't fail due to frost problems, the electrics are not too far behind.
Now that I see that it's Duck Key also ,that thing has been hammered too- no smooth water there

I talked to him last week asked if it was the same boat he said no. He sent a pic of a black and white 206. I tried to contact him several more times with no luck. Now the new ad has pictures of the boat from duck key. The boat was owned by sun dance watersports in duck key fl.

NY Nautique.....I live in Kansas City Mo.(Suburb of Kc) i don't know how in the hell i could pull it off......??? Prob. a 17 hour drive approx.

Have you looked at the boat?....i'm sure the interior is trashed...Not really concerned with the interior....it's the stringers i would be worried about!

Not to temp you more or complicate your decision, but my 2006 206 trailer sits empty most of the year and would be available to you for an adventure. You probably realize that my trailer lives in North Carolina though.

Wow...That's the only other 88 that I've seen that has the basic rear seat set up like mine. I'd love to see what's behind the snap on back cushion and whether or not it has the CC world logo behind it.

I often wondered why I never seen a green SN. Even the earlier tri-color.

Looks great! Is that the same boat that sold from the diaries?

Tim ive been in a bunch of '88's seen the snap cushion a few times with the correct craft on there as well. seems like mostly on the white ones some barefoots I was in I saw it as well. There's so many 83-95's around here.

I went to look at this one. It's VERY salty. Tower is corroded and appears to more of a liability than anything else. All running gear (steering mechanisms, wake slot, throttle, driveshaft, etc) is very eaten up with corrosion. Interior is completely shot. Would be a cool project for someone with funds and time to devote to it. Neat boat... a real shame for someone to let it go to pot like that.

Been watching that one. Could be a great deal if it is just a head gasket but could be something worse, and if so wouldn't be the great deal after all. Plus those pictures look to be a little dated. We've had so much rain here over the last few months that the lakes are all very high, and it looks like that one is extremely low, like last years levels.
