Keith,
Careful, a trickle charger rather than a maintainer will damage a battery if left on for long periods of time. Also, I have to ask why any charger. For 50 years, my batteries stay all winter in the boats disconnected with no charaging Come spring they are connected back up and I crank the engine. I know many others who do the same.

Ain't nuthin' wrong with a Group 48.

CC listed it as a recommended battery in some of their models in later years

There must be at least a half dozen batteries that fit, some tighter than others, and have sufficient capacity, but the Group 65 seems to be a CCF favorite  Wink

I have the noco battery tenders. They seem to work well for my motorcycle and trailer. I have had really bad luck just leaving the battery's in anything. I always take them out and put them on my box and keep them on a tender type sytem

Maybe it's the brand of battery you are buying? Wink

A good practice is to clean the top of the battery before storage.  Dirt & grease can provide a current path, however small.

Yea being in the automotive trade makes you do things a little different because you see the worst of it. I put plugs in a 4 year old harley I got because it had 15 miles on it just because of lot rot and the dealership though I was crazy

I'm having issues with the search feature. I remember finding something about a stencil for the hull graphics. But can't find it now. Am I losing my mind?

Before you do anything, understand the hull side graphics are paint so chances are very good they will not make it through a wet sanding and buff. Get a full size tracing of the graphics so a sign shop can scan the tracing and make a paint mask then you will be ready for new paint.

Some call the paint mask stencils. The sign shop will scan your tracing, clean it up on their computer and then cut the mask out of a special vinyl. It's the "negative" of how they would cut out say a letter.

This one?

Does anyone have pictures of the interior of one of these boats? I really hate the navy blue carpet and want some ideas of color choice
