Hi thanks for letting me join i have just taken my older 350 out and have a vortec 350 crate motor which came out of a jet boat i want to put in my engine faces backwards and the drive is run off the timing cover end problem is the crank after taking the dog clutch off has a woodruff key and two round pins which go into 2 more groves machined into the crank the new engine only has the one for the key not the other two ,any ideas or thoughts thanks

Pull the crank and machine the needed groves for the pins. What type of boat are you repowering? I don't know of any CC's that ran dog clutches. From way back they ether had manual and then hydraulic trans's.
