Hi guys doing a patch on the floor of my? 82sn..can I use polyester resin?

Sure, no problem for a "patch" but please, do some reading on previous stringer jobs on the site. There is a fantastic amount of info there. EPOXY!!!!

I highly suggest it's best to keep the same problem/project in the original threat so we know the history from start to finish. If not, it gets real confusing!! If you have a problem finding your original post on your problem, go to your own profile and do a search.

Thanks for replying Pete that's what I needed to know.I have some separation on the floor to hull that I'm gonna repair with epoxy resin and glass because I feel that will give me a stronger bond structurally but on my floor patch under the spotters seat I'm gonna use poly resin and then in the off season I plan on a full on stringer replacement using only epoxy.thanks again!

If it is just a one season repair it is not going to matter much what you use.

Keeganino I agree I just wasn't sure if I would have bonding issues with the poly resin
