I kicked the idea around for a while, even thought of crafting something. Stole this idea from a friend. A little different than his. The nice thing is that it's only two screws in the wall for the whole thing.
50 dollars total all from the lumber yard.

I've seen similar with those swim noodles over the brackets to pad against the wakeboards

Nice simple set up. I made some last winter to store my boards and those work pretty good, but they take up a fair amount of wall space the way I did them.

I patterned mine like these
