Just wanted to tell Eric thanks for all the help with the tranny stuff and the shaft coupler. Hell of a guy. Ill get her all put back together sunday afternoon and do the alingment and we should be good to go.

Enjoy that beer man haha.

So, what was the fit you ended up with on the coupling or did you end up with the clamp on type that Eric mentioned? Just wondering if you'll crank up the oven this weekend!!

I picked up one of those clamp on ones. I forgot about the set screw holes(on the shaft) so Im going to have to file the mushroom off of them because it slid on then stopped and I was like hmmmm...... Then I turned the shaft around and saw the problem. Im out of time till sunday soo instead of crankin up the oven sunday afternoon Ill be crankin up the 351 haha. I reccomend the clamp on like eric it looks like a very sturdy piece and that damper he got me looks beastly as well, much stronger than the stock one it appears. Thicker and bigger springs.
