I have a 1986 Martinique Bowrider. What I DON'T have is a trailer. I'd like to get the boat out of the water for a good cleaning. I have trailer for a Malibu. I need advice on modifying or finding a proper trailer.

Thanks....
See ya on the lake!

Are you going to trailer a lot, or just move it out one time for cleaning, etc?

I live in a water community and lots of folks don't own trailers. They just borrow a trailer when they need to take it in for service, etc.

Look for a trailer that is within 6 inches length, + or -, of your boat. Be sure it is an inboard trailer so it clears your tracking fins, prop, rudder, etc. Float it on so you don't tear anything apart.

In the long term if you intend to modify a trailer for your Martinique then everything BKH said is important. If you have some welding skills or a buddy who would help you out then you can cut the rear cross supports to modify them to allow clearance for the fins, driveshaft, prop and rudder. You can also add some stock to adjust the height of the existing bunks in the front or rear so they better conform to your boat. I would want to produce a very accurate fit. It is a large undertaking.
