    Posted: July-26-2023 at 2:14pm
Does anyone have any ideas or has done anything to make a 91 rear seat like 94 or some way to step through without having to step on or completely remove the rear seat.

My brain child at the moment is to put hinge pins in the seat cushion section so it is removable and cut a piece of plywood and cover with seadek that inserts in its place.  It would make stepping to platform easier, but wouldn't be too comfy to sit on.  I usually don't leave the backseat in the boat when I am going to ski, but it is a pain taking the entire thing in and out.

Any ideas or completed projects would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 94. I can send you pix and measurements if it helps you with the project. We keep the cushion stowed most of the time.

If that isn't too much trouble that would be great.

I ended up figuring out what I think is a pretty good solution for $25 - I will post pics when complete.  Thanks for the options guys.

Here is what I did -

I removed the bottom seat section and traced it to a piece of treated plywood.
Once I verified exact fit I traced the holes from the bottom side so I can add some blocks on the bottom to hold it in place vs hinging it.
I also chose to cut it in half so a single side can be accessed.
I sanded it and added a coat of poly urethane (probably overkill as we don't get water in the boat anyway)
Got Marine carpet from Lowes and the correct adhesive for it (MAPI makes it for this application)
Covered with carpet and locked into place.

It has a nice finished look, you can still sit in it, but you can absolutely step in it without doing the gymnastics move getting in the boat avoiding the seat as a step.
