I think I need a new cable... does anyone know if I will have to remove my ballast and/or gas tank to replace it??

It seems like I could just tie a rope to the old and pull the new one through.

Any help would be great. Thanks, Jeremy

Ive read that is the easiest way to do it on another forum. Does your "stick or hang up" in just one direction or both?

That's what I did. Piece of cake.
You will probably need a helper.
Be sure you get the right cable. The CC cables are special to the boats and are always half sizes (ie. 17.5", 18.5", etc.) you can not use a shorter/longer size.
