Hello,
Correct Craft could not help me determine the year model of these two Mustangs Hull IDs. Can anyone help? They are M195O AND M225I.
Thanks!

I had a great experience with the Correct Craft headquarters in Orlando- did you call them directly or did you call a local dealer?
I spoke with Jeff Werner, who is not longer with the company (a real loss) and he was extremely helpful. I don't have any other contacts down there.

I gave them the Identification # which was located on an aluminum tag attached to one of the stringers (BARxxx), not the HID. They pulled the build sheet out of the file cabinet and faxed it to me.

Good luck and be sure to come back here to let us know how you make out- since others will have similar q's.

Thanks - I did call them in Orlando and they said their records did not go back that far. M195O and M225I are the Hull IDs or HIN numbers. I believe the M195O is a 1966 Mustang, but do not know about the M225I Mustang. I can tell you that it has the shifter on the dashboard and a floor pedal for gas. It also has the smaller, old style sking pole in the center of the boat, not like my 1978 Southwind Bowrider. Any idea when they quit doing that?

Hey Southwind,

The Aquastairs your deal? Looks like a pretty nice setup. It's a shame we don't have any water in Lanier to use them!
I keep one of my boats at Gainesville Marina. Not far from Dawsonville. We need to hook up with BuffaloBFN sometime. He is up in that area as well.

Hi Greg,
Yep - the Aquastairs work great! I am having a lot of fun with them.
I am up on Thompson Creek with only a little water
I pulled the 78 Southwind out two weeks ago just to be safe. Now I have two Mustangs and am going to set up one of them and sell the hull on the other, so it will be out by Spring.
