Any idea of what the diameter would be for the ski pylon in my '89? It's currently 2 hours away - my neighbor estimated it to be 2 3/4", but I'd like to have exact dimensions. Bidding on extended pylons, I see inside dimenions of 2 1/2 for a fly high, and 2 11/16 for a skylon. Help appreciated - thanks.

Should be 2.5", assuming it's the original. Skylons tend to fit a little larger (as already indicated) but you can put a sock on the pylon to snug it up. Been using a Skylon on an '88 with no problems for 5 years.

I have an '89 and use the fly high, it works great!

Where do you boat? I saw you are from Muncie, I am south of Indy in Franklin.

I stay away from Monroe. It is way to wide open and to many ocean going craft, rollers every where. We spend most of our time at a private lake in Brown County. I have always wanted to make it up to the Angola area. How is the boat traffic after Labor Day we are looking for a weekend spot for later in Sep.
