How tight should the fabric be once installed and straps tightened?

The Fabric should be quite tight. I would think you should send it back. BKH

how loose is it? mine was a little loose recently from my cat lying on top of it and i got it back tight again by loosening the 4 screws (two on each side of the top), tightening the straps and hooking them up, and then tightening the 4 screws back up.
