Custom tower speakers
I have never worked with fiberglas or bondo but I decided to build a custom speaker box. I built it for about half the price and there is not another one like it. I decided to go with 3 because it would look different and I was always taught that 3 will always look better than 2 or 4 (art school). The speakers are kenwood 4ways and it is LOUD, I have not had it on the water yet so I have yet to see if the Holman Moody V8 will over power the 3 kenwoods when you are riding behind the boat. I also added a rack to the tower this week so I now have some more room to walk around. Also added a sub and two amps one to power the sub and one to power the tower speakers and the speakers in the boat. I thought overall for doing it myself it came out really really well. B |

Brad,
What did you do, run one channel through 2 Kenwoods and the other channel through one? How do you get stereo from 3 speakers? Kurt |

Well I am not sure if this is totally right or not but this is how I did it and it is loud as hell but I don't get all of the highs out of my the middle one. I did not try it yet but I want to try and see if I do all of my positives and all my negatives and then bridge them.
But for now it works. |

I don't think that will bode too well for the center speaker. You're going to be running that speaker out of phase from the others, plus I don't think you're amp will like that either. If you want to run the three, I would run the center speaker in mono. In other words, have an amp running stereo for the outers and get another amp and run it in mono for the center. For this amp you would have the left and right input from the source going to the amp and have a mono out.
